How my journey began

Iain Morley is a musician, promoter and entrepreneur from Liverpool UK. He is currently studying a masters in Music Management and Promotion at The University of Central Lancashire.

Iain started (and still performs) in Alt Rock band Buffalo Riot, enjoying national touring and festival success meeting and developing contacts in the live music sphere. Whilst writing and performing in his band he rose the ranks of both retail and hospitality gaining senior management positions. Qualified in Lean management and the love of both hospitality and music. He has embarked on a strategy to create fairer distribution of earnings from music back to musicians. His involvement and investments in multiple co-operative businesses in Liverpool gave him the platform and knowledge to grow a new way of interaction with the music industry, by offering bespoke consultancy across many marketing sectors. Social Media campaigns, Live Music promotion and Licensed ‘Pop up’ live music events through Nothingville music have created a unique opportunity for both grassroots and international artists to maximise profit from touring, using his unique business models.
